What is the zinc oxide concentration in regular-strength Zincofax®?

Zincofax® Original contains 15% zinc oxide.

What is the zinc oxide concentration in extra-strength Zincofax®?

Zincofax® Extra-Strength contains 40% zinc oxide.

Does Zincofax® contain gluten?

We do not add gluten to any Zincofax® products. However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of trace elements in the raw materials.

How many times per day can I apply Zincofax®?

To help treat diaper rash, apply Zincofax® at every diaper change until redness disappears.

To help prevent diaper rash, apply Zincofax® daily to create a protective barrier. (Apply at least once daily; may be applied as often as each diaper change.)

Although there is no minimum age to use Zincofax®, Paladin suggests parents consult their healthcare provider for advice about treating diaper rash in a premature baby.

Where can I find the lot # and expiry date?

The lot # and the expiry date can be seen on the top of the box as well as on the bottom of the plastic container.

How do I get Zincofax® out of clothing?

Zincofax® has an oily base (petrolatum, mineral oil, lanolin). Wipe off any excess Zincofax® before washing, then use a dish detergent or stain removal product intended for removing oily stains from clothing. Carefully follow the instructions of the product you are using.

How do I get Zincofax® off of skin?

To get Zincofax® off the skin, wash the area where it was applied with mild soap and water. Mineral oil may also be used to help wipe Zincofax® off the skin.
